South East London VCSE Alliance

The South East London VCSE Alliance is a powerful coalition of leaders from Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations. United in purpose, we empower the South East London Integrated Care System (SEL ICS) to plan, allocate public funds, and deliver comprehensive healthcare services. Our mission is to achieve the best possible outcomes, experiences, and access while addressing health inequalities.

Member organisations provide essential health and care services and address broader determinants of health. Together, we craft strategies and enhance the delivery of integrated services, focusing on new care models, prioritising prevention, and tackling the wider determinants of health and wellbeing. We share valuable insights into the needs of local Black African and Caribbean communities, ensuring their voices are central to our work. Through leadership and advocacy, we transform our approach, bringing fresh perspectives and a commitment to lasting change.

The SEL ICS includes organisations responsible for publicly funded health and care services across Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham, and Southwark, serving 4.5 million residents. Our collaboration enhances service delivery, focuses on prevention, and addresses the unique needs of local Black communities.

Under the leadership of Tal Rosenzweig, Director of VCSE, the Alliance fosters a strategic partnership within the SEL ICS, committed to transformative outcomes. In 2023, we produced and formally agreed upon a SEL VCSE charter. VCSE organisations are compensated for their membership and active participation in regular meetings, advancing our mission. KINARAA has been a proud and active member since the Alliance's inception, contributing significantly to its impactful journey.
